Jason Anderson, I love you! Your comments make me happy everytime . . . and that's really all I have to say.

However, smile, I thought I would give the line up of classes I have this semester. For my communication major I am taking small group communication and debate. Yes debate. I am not sure how this one is going to go and I am slightly petrified because in my class of 11, yes 11, there are 3 ACU debaters and a few of the others have debated in high school. My experience equals the number of times I have jumped out of airplane, which is indeed zero (until CJ Pierson turns 21 in September and we fulfill our vows to one another!) ((double side note Chris Pierson is going to join us meaning Mr. Big John Newton is automatically required to come along!! consider this your official invitation))

My Bible classes consist of exegesis, which could quite possible eat me alive, historical books of the Old Testament which are Joshua - Esther and finally my third semester of Greek.

I am also helping out as a peer leader as I have said before in a U-100 class, which I will be periodically leading discussions and things of the sort in.

And if Mr. Jason Anderson could tell Mrs. Lindsey Anderson that I mentioned to someone that everytime there are enjoyable puffy clouds in the sky I think of her, I would greatly appreciate it!

Welcome Week!

Writing seems like a daunting task right now. So let me start with a random fact . . .

Brad East has in fact mastered every word of the english language. If you assemble random letters together and attempt to say them, even with a weird accent, he will tell you the meaning of what you just made up.

Ok, I can handle starting like that . . . so I'm back at school. I have been in Abilene for the last two weeks. The first week was RA training. I'm excited about meeting, learning about and bonding with new brothers in McKinzie Hall! Our staff is yet again amazing and I can't wait to work with the guys I am working with who include Andy Zimmerman still as the RD and Luke Cochran as a rookie RA, so half the staff is in fact from Round Rock. It was an intersting experience going through all the training with a year under my belt completely different and I feel like I'm standing on a mountain of confidence compared to last year in being an RA . . . I wonder who will knock me off, smile. It has been great to have a full hall again!

I am also a peer leader of a U-100 class. This means I am like a co-teacher of a class all freshman take as a transition course from high school to college that goes through welcome week together also. I have an honors group and it has been incredibly interesting to learn about the diverse backgrounds and experiences that everyone has. It is definitely safe to say that I am exausted and ready for school to start so that I can have a break, ha.

I am not sure why it has been so difficult to write in the last few months, but I will hopefully attempt to on a regular basis. I feel like I have been internalizing every thought and I'm sure it would help me think through things if I would write it down too.

Last thought - ACU is such a wonderful community of people. I have come back to a slew (take that Brad) of people who care deeply about how I have grown and what I have experienced this summer. I once again realize how spoiled those of us in the Church are because we have a wonderful community who walk with each other through this journey of life.
