The Ugandan people will be voting this month, and possibly already have, for a new president. This happens every five years and the same man has been in power (after changing the consitution) for 4 terms, two over the regulation and law stated before. However, I hear that he has done many great things, although I think that there are many tribal issues as to who gets first and best treatment. I am not sure at all about the politics there, but I do ask you to pray for the election that God would be present and working for our brothers and sisters in Uganda.

I love the idea of having a medium that will be personal and frequent enough for everyone reading to know what God is doing in Brad, Sarah and my own lives this summer. Both of them, however, are much better writers than I am so I appologize if this makes for hard reading.

Yesterday I became sucessful in winning the prize for last to send his letters out! Life has been crazy with basketball intramurals, lectureship, class and SING SONG. With all of this behind me I was finally able to finish them up so now God has something to work with. I hope the letters will provide an opprotunity and not a burden to those who receive them and I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to read them and this blog. If you have any questions or would like to hear thoughts on anything over the course of the trip I'm sure you can leave a message on this site or feel free to email at hxn04a@acu.edu.

Well, I just wanted to do a small introduction and the only thing I have left to say is that we are EXTREMELY pumped up daily about the opprotunity God has placed before us! CJ quite frequently makes fun of me for using exclaimation marks, but punctuation does not do justice to our heightened excitment!

A blog about a guy named Heath in Africa. (I have never used one of these, this is a test)
