Spring Break
CJ Pierson and I just experienced yet again another wonderful spring break on the road. We originally were heading east to experience nature, but by the time we made it to Dallas we knew something was wrong and passionately turned to the west, to southern California.
It was a good choice.
Instead of fighting thunder storms all week we had to deal with 75 degree temperatures at Joshua Tree National Park. Naturally, there were many adventures, but on the whole it was just nice to get away and get back into the beautiful world of nature. I have a new found appreciation and love for the desert and I think it is wonderful.
. . . . . . . . .
Also, volleyball starts tonight, and Mr. Jordan Glaeser asked me to be on his team. I am terrified because I haven't played since last year, and I love it because I've got butterflies. Basketball didn't turn out so well, but it was nice to have a good final individual performance (especially so I don't have to grieve for an entire year over it all) hopefully I will be able to get back in action in the Bronx!
. . . . . . . . .
Perhaps to start another conversation in the future I'll say - how about that election!?
. . . . . . . . .
Finally, how about those HORNS! Of course I am loving march madness and through my bias I feel like we have a great chance to make the final four and a run after that! I will be making a trip down to Austin this weekend, mostly to watch the game(s hopefully) with my parents (including one who was born a few years ago on this day! Happy Birthday Big John, smile). Hopefully I will get a chance to bump into some of y'all and tell a story or two! I hope your day is as beautiful as it is here!
